The Israeli army achieved a major security breakthrough in Hezbollah's ranks with the arrest of Aita al-Shaab area commander, Hassan Akil Jawad, along with a group of members from the organization's "Radwan Force".

Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee revealed that Golani Brigade forces succeeded in surrounding a military command headquarters of the party, where commander Jawad and his escorts surrendered without resistance.

Interrogations with the detained commander resulted in an unprecedented security collapse within the organization's ranks, as he revealed sensitive information leading to the destruction of several military facilities in the area.

Israeli forces, based on intelligence information, discovered a secret tunnel inside the military headquarters, representing a blow to the tunnel network that Hezbollah relies on.

Military Investigation Unit 504 utilized information obtained from detainees to direct precise strikes against the party's military infrastructure in the Aita al-Shaab area.

Adraee confirmed the success of Unit 504 investigators in extracting valuable intelligence information from dozens of detained elements during recent weeks, contributing to directing ground operations in southern Lebanon.

The successive arrest operations and information extracted from investigations reflect a sharp decline in Hezbollah's security and military capabilities in the border region.

The surrender of a high-ranking commander like the Aita al-Shaab area commander dealt a severe moral blow to the organization, especially with his disclosure of sensitive details about its military system.

These developments indicate the success of the Israeli strategy in penetrating Hezbollah's leadership ranks and weakening its operational capabilities in southern Lebanon.
