Internal Security Forces Launch Security Campaign in "Roj Camp" to Deter ISIS Cells

The Internal Security Forces, known as "the Woman," launched a comprehensive security campaign today, Saturday, inside "Roj Camp," located in the countryside of Malikiya in northern Hasakah, following reports of suspicious movements by cells belonging to the Islamic State organization within the camp.
Local sources reported that the camp has witnessed attempts at infiltration in recent days, resulting in the deaths of a woman and a child, in addition to several individuals being subjected to multiple assaults. "Roj Camp" is considered one of the most prominent camps housing the families of ISIS fighters, making it a constant hotspot, especially with the growing concerns over the activities of these cells in the area.
This campaign is part of ongoing security efforts to curb the operations of the Islamic State organization, amid warnings that the chaotic situation in the camps could be exploited to reactivate dormant cells, threatening stability in the region.
In a related context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented on March 25 the strangulation death of a Moroccan girl after she was brutally beaten inside "Roj Camp." The motives behind the crime and the identity of the perpetrator remain unknown, raising further concerns about the security situation in the camp.
