General Ali Mahmoud Abbas, Deputy Commander-in-Chief and Syrian regime Defense Minister, acknowledged intensified battles with armed opposition led by HTS using guerrilla warfare tactics.

Regime Defense Minister reviewed military tactics including hit-and-run, advance and withdrawal to certain points in televised statement, noting regional and international powers' military and logistical opposition support.

General Abbas viewed field situation as good, confirming forces redeployed to preserve lives, considering "military action and battle tactics sometimes require repositioning and redeployment."

Regime Defense Minister affirmed "Syria with its army, people, leadership, and allies' support can overcome field challenges however intense or difficult."

General Abbas justified forces' withdrawal from Hama city as protecting civilian lives, accusing opposition of exploiting event media-wise through misleading campaign.

Regime Defense Minister warned of opposition issuing fake statements or publishing fabricated audio recordings and videos using AI technology.

General Abbas urged Syrians to be aware of what he described as misleading campaign risks, calling for exclusive reliance on official channels, describing Hama events as "temporary tactical measure." He added forces remain around Hama city ready to execute duties.

General Abbas called Syrians for patience and steadfastness, pledging to recover opposition-controlled areas, confirming forces will remain "impenetrable dam" against what he described as attempts to tamper with country's security.
