Simultaneous attacks on multiple axes reveal Israeli attempt to expand confrontation and impose new equations on Lebanese arena

Israel admitted Monday responsibility for violent strike targeting Basta area in central Beirut, indicating its aircraft bombed "Hezbollah command center".
The strike resulted in heavy civilian casualties, with Lebanese Health Ministry counting at least 29 deaths and 67 others wounded with varying injuries.
Accounts conflicted about target's nature, as Lebanese security source indicated targeting "senior commander" in Hezbollah, while party MP Amin Sherri denied presence of any organization "figure" during bombardment.
Capital targeting coincided with comprehensive military escalation on southern front, as strikes renewed on Beirut's southern suburb after Israeli warning for residents to evacuate three buildings in Haret Hreik.
Israeli warplanes launched intensive strikes on various southern areas, resulting in casualties in Tyre city, including Lebanese soldier, plus destruction of 15 houses in Yahmar Al-Shaqif town.
