Iran’s Stance: No Deployment of Fighters to Lebanon or Gaza Against Israel

The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed on Monday that Tehran will not send fighters to Lebanon or Gaza to confront Israel.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani stated on Monday that Iran will not allow any of Israel's "criminal acts" to go unanswered, referencing the deaths of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah and the Deputy Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in Lebanon.
Abbas Nilforoushan, the Deputy Commander of the Revolutionary Guard, was killed on Friday in an Israeli strike in Beirut that also claimed the life of Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
The rising frequency of Israeli attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Yemeni Houthi movement has raised concerns about a potential escalation of conflict in the Middle East, dragging Iran and the United States into a larger confrontation.
Kanaani remarked at a weekly press conference, "We will respond firmly and in a way that makes the ‘enemy’ regret their actions," adding that Iran does not seek war but is not afraid of it.
He noted that Iran is closely monitoring developments with Lebanese authorities, referring to the strikes that resulted in the deaths of Nasrallah and Nilforoushan.
Meanwhile, the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, General Hossein Salami, stated that "the assassination of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah and General Abbas Nilforoushan, the commander of the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guard in Lebanon, represents a historic change in the Islamic world."
General Salami, speaking from the home of General Nilforoushan in Isfahan province, emphasized, "The blood of Hassan Nasrallah and General Nilforoushan is very precious, and we will continue in the path of these martyrs," pointing out that "valuable blood has been spilled on the ground, and martyrdom is the best fate that could happen to them."
