UAE Targets Muslim Brotherhood Funding Sources, Including Eight British Entities

The UAE decision reflects increasing determination to combat extremist organizations and track their elements spread across Europe, especially in Britain and Sweden

The United Arab Emirates government announced the addition of 19 individuals and entities to local terrorism lists due to their connection with the extremist Muslim Brotherhood organization.
Statement No. (1) for 2025, issued by the Ministerial Council regarding updating the register of terrorist elements and organizations, included 11 individuals and 8 institutions in local terrorism records according to UAE laws and regulations.
This statement stems from UAE's commitment and continuous efforts locally and internationally to target and undermine networks involved in supporting terrorism and related activities, directly or indirectly.
According to the statement, financial institutions and supervisory bodies must implement and adopt required measures in accordance with state legislation and regulations.
The list of classified terrorist elements includes: Youssef Hassan Al-Mulla (Swedish citizen, former Liberian), Saeed Khadem Al-Marri (Turkish/Emirati), Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Hammadi (Swedish/Emirati), Elham Abdullah Al-Hashimi (Emirati), Jassim Rashid Al-Shamsi (Emirati), Khaled Obaid Al-Zaabi (Emirati), Abdulrahman Hassan Al-Jabri (Emirati), Hamid Abdullah Al-Nuaimi (Emirati), Abdulrahman Omar Al-Hadrami (Yemeni), Ali Hassan Al-Hammadi (Emirati), and Mohammed Ali Al-Hammadi (Emirati).
The list of classified institutions includes: Cambridge Education and Training Center, Imagen Company, Wembley Tree Company, Wasla4All Platform, Future Graduates Company, Yas Investment and Real Estate Company, Holdco UK Real Estate Company, and Naval Capital Company, all of which are based in the United Kingdom.
