Al-Shaybani Confirms Commitment to Establishing a "Participatory" Government
Asaad Al-Shaybani, the Foreign Minister in the new Syrian administration, stated on Friday that during his visit to Saudi Arabia, he presented a national vision aimed at establishing a government based on participation and efficiency that includes all components of the Syrian people.
In a series of posts on the "X" platform, Al-Shaybani expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, and the Head of General Intelligence, Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan, for their warm reception during the historic first visit of the new Syrian delegation.
Al-Shaybani explained that the visit was an opportunity to convey their national vision focused on establishing a government that includes all Syrian components, in addition to working on a developmental economic plan that encourages investment and supports strategic partnerships, contributing to the improvement of living and service conditions.
He also highlighted the importance of Syria's positive role in the region and the necessity of establishing common policies with Arab countries aimed at enhancing security, stability, and achieving prosperity.
Al-Shaybani began his visit to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, accompanied by Defense Minister Marhaf Abu Qasra and Head of General Intelligence Anas Khattab. This visit marks the first since the formation of the caretaker government after the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad's regime.
