Saudi Arabia has launched a comprehensive humanitarian initiative to support orphans and their caregivers affected by the earthquake in northern Syria, targeting 750 beneficiaries.
The initiative includes allocating monthly sponsorship for 600 orphans, providing their basic needs including school bags and personal hygiene supplies, along with seasonal clothing.
The support plan includes psychological and social care services for orphans, helping them overcome the disaster's effects and psychological consequences.
The initiative distinguishes itself by focusing on economic empowerment through a vocational training program targeting 150 female orphan caregivers in areas such as sewing, livestock farming, dairy production, and home food production.
The program includes providing beneficiaries with necessary professional tools and livestock, including cattle and feed, enabling them to start their own projects and achieve financial sustainability.
