Israel Cuts Arteries.. Netanyahu Threatens Assad and Hints at New War Front

Israeli aircraft aggressively targeted Lebanon-Syria border crossings, disregarding ceasefire announcement.

Hours after Netanyahu warned Assad about weapon transfers to Hezbollah through Syria, saying Assad "plays with fire," Israeli strikes hit border crossings for the first time, killing 6.

Syrian regime's Defense Ministry reported the attack occurred hours before Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire implementation.

Military source stated Israeli aircraft launched midnight attacks from Lebanese airspace, targeting western Homs border crossings.

Strikes killed 6, including 2 regime forces, wounding 12 others.

Lebanese Public Works Minister Ali Hamieh directed repair teams to fix Masnaa road between capitals.

Ministry crews began inspecting northern border crossings with Syria - Abboudiyeh, Arida, and Boukaiya - to assess damaged bridges.

Tuesday night strikes hit unofficial crossings in Wadi Khaled, Homs countryside, and 3 bridges on the border river.

Strategically, Syria is now disconnected from Lebanon coast-to-border, part of Israel's plan to prevent Hezbollah weapons flow allegedly coming from Iran via Iraq and Syria.

Since September 26, Israel intensified operations in Syria, with SOHR documenting 86 attacks killing 199 fighters and 39 civilians.

Israel rarely acknowledges strikes but maintains it counters Iranian military presence in Syria and prevents Hezbollah's "combat equipment transfer" from Syria to Lebanon.
