Netanyahu Vows Doubling Response to Any Attack from Iran or Its Allies
Amid escalating regional tensions, Israel emphasizes its readiness to respond forcefully to any hostile moves, asserting its capability to reach any necessary location.
Israel has declared a firm stance towards Iran and Hezbollah, promising a strong response if attacked in retaliation for the killing of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas' political bureau in Iran, and the attack that killed Fuad Shukr, a Hezbollah leader, in the southern suburbs.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel would confront any threats with a strong and doubled response, affirming the country's readiness to counter any attempts to breach its sovereignty. Netanyahu indicated that Israeli forces are capable of reaching any required site, whether in Gaza, Yemen, or Beirut.
He also emphasized the importance of controlling the Philadelphi Corridor in Gaza, pledging to track Hamas leaders everywhere. During the weekly cabinet meeting, Netanyahu described the conflict with the "Iranian axis of evil" as a multi-front war, highlighting the powerful strikes Israel has delivered to Iran's proxies.

Netanyahu added that Israel is prepared for any scenario, whether defensive or offensive, and will impose a heavy price for any aggressive action. In related remarks, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant threatened a strong response if Israel is attacked, stressing the importance of being ready to swiftly transition from defense to offense.
Galant affirmed the readiness of Israeli forces both defensively and offensively, noting that the enemy would pay a heavy price if they attacked Israel. Regional tensions have intensified following the assassination of Haniyeh and the killing of Shukr, with Iran and Hamas holding Israel responsible and vowing revenge, while Israel has not officially announced its position.
