Nine Israeli Soldiers Killed or Injured and Gaza Death Toll Exceeds 45,000

Hamas announced today, Sunday, that its members from the Al-Qassam Brigades managed to kill and injure nine Israeli soldiers, while the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the number of deaths resulting from the Israeli war on the enclave has risen to 45,259.

In the details of the events, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, stated that they targeted an Israeli force consisting of nine soldiers who were holed up inside a house in northern Gaza with a "TPG" missile. The movement indicated that there were killed and wounded among the Israeli soldiers west of the Jabalia camp. They also announced the targeting of an Israeli personnel carrier with a "martyrdom operation" explosive device west of Beit Lahiya, in addition to sniping an Israeli officer on Abu Al-Eish Street in Jabalia camp.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health in Gaza clarified that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli war for more than a year has risen to 45,259. The ministry stated in its announcement that it recorded "32 martyrs" and 54 injured individuals who were taken to hospitals in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of injured to 107,627 since the beginning of the war on October 7, 2023. The ministry confirmed that many victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, preventing rescue and civil defense teams from reaching them.
