It is essential to reevaluate the pathways of regional agendas that confront the area and the fundamental factor in changing maps due to intertwined interests and regional agendas, as well as the struggle for influence that places the Kurdish people in Syria in a position of difficulty and existential threat.

This vulnerability stems from an inability to navigate the calculations involved, and poor assessments resulting from a lack of political engagement to address the rapid developments and changes in the region. This is where the national and historical role of the Kurdish reference figure, represented by President Masoud Barzani, comes into play in aiding the Kurdish people across all parts of Kurdistan, especially the Kurdish people in Syria, through his relentless efforts and continuous guidance to help prepare the ground and climate for appropriate engagement with new developments and to confront the risks and threats facing the Kurdish people in Syria.
