The Middle East on the Brink of Major Developments!

By Abdulrahman Korki (Mahabad)
Important developments and significant changes are shaping the reality of Iran, the region, and the world. The positions taken indicate that "Iran" is at the core of these developments! Who is the winner, and who is the loser?
Elections were held in nearly 70 countries around the world in 2024, with the American elections being the most significant. The Republican Party won the presidency in America, along with a majority in both the Senate and the House of Representatives. This historical turning point is extremely painful and deadly for the rulers of the religious regime in Iran; the person sitting in the U.S. presidency is one who previously ordered the assassination of the terrorist military commander Qassem Soleimani in a military operation in Baghdad, and he had also torn up the nuclear agreement with the Iranian regime! Not only has the Republican Party not retreated from such actions, but it also takes pride in them! Therefore, it is rightful for the Supreme Leader and other officials of the Iranian regime to feel sadness and anxiety and to bear the heavy burden of responsibility; this major development coincides with the suppressed anger of the Iranian people and the Iranian resistance, who are preparing to deliver the final blow to the dictatorship in Iran!
**Who is Responsible for Overthrowing the Velayat-e-Faqih Regime?**
It is clear that overthrowing the dictatorship in Iran is solely the responsibility and duty of the Iranian people. Others can be supporters and backers of the Iranian people and the Iranian resistance in achieving this goal. The resistance of this people has not depended on others for a long time, and the Iranian resistance continues to fight around the clock to rid itself of the grasp of dictatorship.
**The Main Battle!**
The main battle is between the Iranian people and the dictatorship, especially the religious dictatorship. At the same time, advancing politically and diplomatically on the international stage is of utmost importance and continues to this day and will persist. It is crucial to thwart the policy and strategy of appeasement with the dictatorship in Iran so that it is not used against the Iranian people! In other words, we emphasize that the failure of the appeasement policy with the religious dictatorship derives its value from the struggle to overthrow this dictatorship!
**Fighting the Policy of Appeasement with the Religious Dictatorship!**
Confronting the appeasement policy with the religious dictatorship has never been and will never be simple; those lenient in the West have sought and continue to seek their own interests in their relations with Iran. They will not relinquish their interests. The new U.S. president has even officially stated that he is not interested in changing the mullahs’ regime in Iran. The notion that a state or foreign power will overthrow the ruling regime in Iran is nothing but an illusion.
**What Should We Do?**
In the Iranian domestic scene, more than 800 people have been executed since the beginning of this year, among them about 500 during the presidency of Masoud Bezhkishan. The government executed these sentences alongside increasing prices of bread, eggs, dairy products, housing, cement, cars, road fees, and airplane and train tickets, among others. Bezhkishan had stated that he would follow in the footsteps of Ebrahim Raisi and adhere to the path of the Velayat-e-Faqih, which means hostility towards the Iranian people! We must not forget that the Iranian people aspire to overthrow the dictatorship of the Velayat-e-Faqih.
In the regional context, the "head of the snake," which is the center of all the region's problems, has emerged alongside the blows inflicted on the proxy militias of the religious dictatorship in Iran. Illusions and false propaganda about the "Axis of Resistance" have vanished, revealing the unprecedented weakness of the mullahs’ regime before the eyes of political analysts at both regional and global levels. For this reason, the wave of "collapse" and "terror" does not limit itself to the regime's forces inside Iran but extends to its proxy forces. In this new phase, these forces are distancing themselves from the regime.
On the international stage as well, the isolation of the mullahs’ regime increases day by day. The gap between Europe and America has relatively narrowed, and this fascist regime can no longer maneuver between them. The ink of the 71st resolution in the "Third Committee of the UN General Assembly," which condemns the mullahs’ regime for gross human rights violations, has hardly dried before terror swept through the entire structure of the mullahs’ regime due to the repercussions of the resolution. It must be added that Trump's entry into power is significant in relation to all international developments concerning the mullahs’ regime, as it influences other developments.
**The Alternative to the Dictatorship in Iran!**
Looking at the past hundred years of Iranian history, we discover how the long-lasting sacrifices of the Iranian
