Saudi Arabia recorded 154 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours bringing the total to 2,039, according to a health ministry spokesman.

The spokesman said the higher number of cases is considered “useful” as it signifies reaching the infected cases in time to protect those infected and the rest of society. Infections that are detected early have a higher chance of recovery, he added.
The spokesman continued to urge people to follow the implemented measures to help slow the spread of the deadly virus.
As part of the measures implemented, King Salman bin Abdulaziz ordered coronavirus treatment to be available for anyone in need of medical care, including people who have overstayed their visas in the Kingdom. Coronavirus: Saudi Arabia
The Kingdom urges all of those showing symptoms not to hesitate in going to a hospital, whether private or public, to get tested and receive the proper care under King Salman’s new order. This includes visa violators who are not legally in the country. levant
