Egypt top appeals court upholds death sentence for 21 terrorists over killing policemen
The Xinhua reported that official news agency MENA reported, Egypt's Court of Cassation, the country's top appeals court, on Thursday upheld a previous court ruling that sentenced 21 "terrorists" to death over charges of killing policemen.
They were convicted of killing 42 security men, 15 civilians and wounding more than 340 others in 54 terrorist attacks.

The convicted persons were members of Ansar Bait al-Maqdis, an extremist militant group that declared loyalty to the Islamic State in 2014.
