Erdoğan ends his two-day visit to the UAE on Tuesday

The Arab News reported, the president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, concluded his two-day trip to the UAE on Tuesday.

According to state news agency WAM, The Turkish president was seen off at the Presidential Terminal of Abu Dhabi International Airport by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, along with a number of other officials.

His departure follows a high-level visit to the Gulf country, which included signing several agreements in the fields of security, economy and technology.

He was greeted on arrival in the capital by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.

Erdogan’s visit was the first since 2013, a time when both countries passed through crises linked to regional conflicts.

However, Sheikh Mohamed visited Turkey in November last year where the two sides also signed agreements during the visit.

The Turkish president noted that he aims to boost cooperation with the UAE in areas such as climate change and water and food security.

The leaders also exchanged views on numerous developments in the Middle East during the visit. They stressed that both nations agree on the importance of supporting peaceful solutions aimed at enhancing security, peace, and stability in the region.

More than 100 high school students from across the Kingdom of Bahrain took part in the hackathon, which featured an intensive programme of training workshops and hands-on sessions. These activities were tailored to enhance participants’ critical thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and team-building capabilities, while also encouraging the development of practical and sustainable solutions to contemporary challenges using modern technological tools.
