Escalating Situation in Gaza: 51,000 Victims and 100,000 Injured Due to Israeli Attack
Medical and media reports indicate that the number of dead and missing in the Gaza Strip has risen to nearly 51,000 individuals as a result of the Israeli military offensive that began on October 7, 2023.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the statistical report published today, Monday, confirms that the attack has resulted in the deaths of at least 41,909 Palestinians, reflecting the humanitarian tragedy endured by the residents of the enclave.
In the same context, Palestinian medical reports noted that the number of missing individuals, who remain buried under rubble or stranded in streets that rescue workers and paramedics cannot access, has reached approximately 10,000 since the commencement of the military operation.
As for the injured, the number of casualties in Gaza has approached 100,000, with the Palestinian Ministry of Health reporting that the injured count has reached 97,303 since the onset of the attack.
In contrast, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority confirmed that the number of Israeli soldier and officer fatalities stands at 728, with 4,576 injuries reported since the conflict began.
These figures reflect the catastrophic impact of the ongoing conflict, highlighting the urgent need for an international humanitarian response to halt the escalation and ensure peace in the region.
