Syria.. Israeli Occupation Army Arrests Two People in Quneitra Countryside

The Israeli occupation army arrested two individuals today, Saturday, in the town of Jaba in the Quneitra countryside before withdrawing from the area. This comes amid ongoing tensions in southern Syria due to the Israeli incursion in the region.
According to a correspondent from Syria TV, the arrest occurred after the two individuals approached a United Nations forces point in the town, while the occupation forces withdrew two tanks from Syrian territory after their incursion into the town of Saida al-Hanout.
On Friday, the Israeli army occupied the villages of Jamla and Ma'araba in the Yarmouk Basin in Daraa province, following the collapse of Bashar Al-Assad's regime. The occupation army also fired live ammunition at demonstrators in the village of Ma'araba, resulting in injuries to one protester during protests against the occupation in the area.
It is noted that Israeli attacks have notably increased since the overthrow of the Assad regime, leading to the destruction of many military facilities and the expansion of the occupation in the Golan Heights.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directed the army to prepare to remain in the Syrian Hermon area and the buffer zone until the end of 2025. During a visit to Mount Hermon, Netanyahu affirmed that Israel will continue its presence in this strategic area until alternative arrangements are made to ensure its security.
In contrast, the Syrian government in Damascus reiterates its commitment to the "disengagement agreement," calling on Tel Aviv to withdraw from the occupied territories.
