Escalating Tensions: Rockets Fall Near Yarmouk Basin Amid Israeli Air Activity

Local sources reported today, Sunday, that two rockets fell near the Yarmouk Basin area in the western countryside of Daraa, close to the border with the occupied Golan Heights.
The "Daraa 24" network stated that the rockets landed in that area, accompanied by intensive Israeli air patrols along the border, adding that sirens were heard in the Israeli side.
Earlier, Israeli broadcasting authorities announced in the early hours of Sunday that Israeli air defense had intercepted two cruise missiles launched from Iraq towards southern Golan.
Israeli media outlets reported that there were injuries as a result of the rocket impacts in southern Golan, with the "Walla" website confirming that some of the injuries occurred due to this rocket barrage.
The Syrian border near the occupied Golan Heights is witnessing escalating tensions, as the level of conflict between Israel and the Lebanese "Hezbollah" has reached unprecedented heights. This escalation follows Israeli strikes that resulted in the deaths of 70 people due to explosions of wireless communication devices of the "Pager" and "ICOM" types in Lebanon, along with an Israeli airstrike on the southern suburb of Beirut that resulted in the deaths of 15 leaders and members of the party.
