Fatah's Statements Reveal Genuine Concern About Hamas Attempts to Transfer Its Military Model to West Bank with Iranian Support
The Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) warned against Hamas's attempts to repeat what it described as "adventures" in the West Bank, accusing it of being beholden to Iran and regional axes at the expense of Palestinian interests.
Fatah, in a statement transmitted by "Maan" news agency, emphasized that Hamas's actions provided "free pretexts for occupation" to launch a war of annihilation in Gaza, leading to the territory's destruction and the martyrdom, loss, injury, and capture of over two hundred thousand Palestinians.
The movement affirmed that what it called "rhetoric of one-upmanship and accusation of treason" by Hamas aligns with occupation schemes, pointing to attempts to incite security chaos in the West Bank by supporting groups operating outside the law.
Fatah criticized what it described as contradictions and fabrications in Hamas's recent statement, considering these misleading speeches converge with occupation objectives in implementing plans against the Palestinian people.
The movement defended the role of Palestinian security agencies, describing them as the "natural and historical extension of the contemporary Palestinian revolution", affirming they offer martyrs to preserve the national project from "tampering or confiscation in favor of regional parties".
