Gaza: Four Palestinians Killed in Israeli Airstrikes
غزة - سكاي نيوز

Four Palestinians were killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip on Sunday, according to officials from the medical sector.

The Civil Defense in Gaza reported that Israeli artillery shelling occurred east of Khan Younis in the southern part of the territory on Sunday.

In a brief statement, the Civil Defense said, "Artillery shelling and gunfire from Israeli tanks targeted the border areas of Abasan al-Kabira neighborhood east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip."

Later, the Israeli army announced in a statement the "elimination of suspects believed to be planting an explosive device in Gaza," without providing further details.

Earlier on Sunday, a Palestinian was killed and another injured due to an attack carried out by an Israeli drone in northern Gaza.

Palestinian media reported that the attack targeted a group of Palestinians in the Al-Bura area east of Beit Hanoun.

On Saturday, the first phase of a ceasefire agreement in Gaza ended amidst uncertainty regarding the resumption of the agreement, as Israel seeks to extend the first phase while Hamas demands an immediate start to the second phase.
