Israel: The War is Against Hezbollah, Not the People of Lebanon
إسرائيل: الحرب على حزب الله وليست مع شعب لبنان

The Israeli military announced that its ground assaults in Lebanon are targeting Hezbollah strongholds along the border.

Spokesman Daniel Hagari stated in a video briefing on Tuesday that Israel "will not allow an attack similar to October 7 on its borders from any direction," adding that "the inability of the Lebanese government and the countries of the world to distance Hezbollah from the borders leaves Tel Aviv with no choice."

He also accused Hezbollah of turning Lebanese villages into bases ready to attack Israel, according to his claims. He emphasized that "the Israeli war is with Hezbollah, not with the people of Lebanon."

Additionally, the Israeli army urged residents of more than 30 Lebanese towns in the south to evacuate and head north of the Awali River. Earlier today, it had asked Lebanese citizens not to move vehicles south of the Litani River, about 30 kilometers from the border with Israel.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced that it launched several rockets toward the Galilee in northern Israel and Tel Aviv, denying any Israeli incursion.

Furthermore, a correspondent for Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath reported that several rockets were fired from Lebanon toward Israel, including at least one ballistic missile, while sirens sounded in Tel Aviv and central Israel.

He also noted that six Israelis were injured as a result of a rocket falling in Tel Aviv.

Additionally, there was mention of an apparent attempt to target drones in what seems to be a Yemeni attempt against the city of Eilat.
