Israeli Airstrikes Target Towns of
قصف إسرائيلي

A series of Israeli airstrikes targeted the towns of "Ali al-Nahri," "Masa," and "Brital" in the Bekaa Valley. These airstrikes come amid an escalation in tensions, as Hezbollah announced on Monday that it had fired missiles at a military barracks in central Israel and carried out a "qualitative" missile strike on a naval base near the city of Haifa in northern Israel, a day after a drone attack on a training base that resulted in the deaths of at least four soldiers.

The group stated in a news release that its fighters launched a "qualitative missile barrage at the Stella Maris naval base northwest of Haifa…" just hours after threatening Israel with more attacks if it continued "to aggress against our people."

Hezbollah also declared on Monday that it targeted Israeli soldiers inside the border town of Maroun al-Ras in southern Lebanon, where Israel has continued its "limited" ground operations since late September. The group noted in a statement that its fighters targeted "a gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers in southern Maroun al-Ras with artillery shells," after previously announcing attacks on soldiers and thwarting "infiltration attempts" in several border locations.

Earlier, a correspondent for "Al Arabiya" and "Al Hadath" reported rocket fire towards Haifa and its surroundings. The Israeli military stated that it detected a rocket launched from Lebanon towards Haifa, which fell in an open area, while Hezbollah claimed to have targeted an Israeli force during an infiltration attempt into southern Lebanon.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese news agency reported a series of airstrikes on the town of Yahr al-Shuqif and the town of Ma'aroub in the southern part of the country, while "Channel 12" in Israel reported intercepting rockets launched from Lebanon towards the Galilee, with some falling in open areas.

Prior to this, our correspondent reported intense clashes between Hezbollah elements and the Israeli army in the Marqabah area of southern Lebanon. He added that Hezbollah fighters also repelled attempts by units of the Israeli army to penetrate into other areas, including Labouna and Khalat al-Tafah, and used missiles and heavy weapons, according to a statement issued after the clashes.
