Israeli Army Issues New Warnings to Southern Lebanon Amid Ongoing Displacement
نزوح عشرات الآلاف هرباً من القصف الإسرائيلي

The Israeli army reiterated its warnings to the residents of southern Lebanon on Saturday, as tens of thousands fled from Israeli bombardments, particularly after many Lebanese towns in the south were reduced to ashes.

IDF spokesperson Avichai Adraee issued a brief statement on X platform today, urging residents of 23 towns in southern Lebanon to remain vigilant.

He confirmed that Israeli forces continue to target Hezbollah positions in the border villages.

Adraee emphasized that residents are prohibited from returning to their homes until further notice, adding that "anyone heading south may endanger their life."

He also warned medical teams and ambulance services against engaging with Hezbollah members, alleging that the group uses ambulances for concealment.

Hundreds of thousands have been displaced from the south, as well as from the Bekaa Valley and the southern suburbs of Beirut, following numerous threats they received from the Israeli side and warnings against returning.

This situation comes as shelters in the Lebanese capital and other areas in Mount Lebanon and the north are overflowing with displaced individuals who left their homes to escape the shelling, often without taking any belongings, amid a shortage of assistance provided by official authorities.
