Russia says to Ukrainian forces in Mariupol: 'Lay down your arms'

The We For News reported, Russian Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev calls on Ukrainian forces to lay down their arms in Mariupol.

“Lay down your arms,” Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, the director of the Russian National Center for Defense Management, said in a briefing distributed by the defence ministry.

Mizintsev said: “A terrible humanitarian catastrophe has developed,”adding that “All who lay down their arms are guaranteed safe passage out of Mariupol.”

He added humanitarian corridors would be opened out of Mariupol at 10am Moscow time (0700 GMT) on March 21.

In a seperate report, the We For News reported, the Russian Defence Ministry said that the Russian armed forces with Kalibr cruise missiles destroyed workshops for the repair of damaged Ukrainian armoured vehicles.

At the same time, it is reported that Kalibr cruise missiles from the waters of the Caspian Sea, as well as from the airspace over the Crimea, the Kinzhal complexes destroyed a large fuel and lubricants storage base near the village of Konstantinovka, Mykolaiv region.

The statement said, according to the RT, “In the evening of March 19 and in the morning of March 20, strikes were carried out with long-range precision weapons on Ukrainian military infrastructure facilities. From the waters of the Black Sea, Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles destroyed workshops for the repair of Ukrainian armoured vehicles damaged in combat operations."
