The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Tuesday that three of its members were killed in separate attacks in Deir Ezzor Province.

In a statement, the SDF reported that the three fighters were killed in different locations and circumstances, identifying them as Anwar Bashar Al-Aliwi, who was killed in the town of Al-Shanan, and Ziyad Hasan Al-Ibrahim and Aboud Mahmoud Al-Hamadeh, who were killed in the town of Hawaij Dhiban.

In a related context, local sources reported that an SDF member was injured in an attack carried out by unknown assailants targeting a military vehicle on the main road in the town of Suwaydan Jazira, east of Deir Ezzor.

The sources further indicated that unknown individuals attacked several oil tankers belonging to the SDF with machine guns in the town of Daman, leading to material losses.

The SDF and its positions in Deir Ezzor Province are repeatedly subjected to attacks by unknown gunmen, often resulting in casualties among their ranks and material damage.

At times, the Islamic State (ISIS) claims responsibility for some of these operations, affirming its continued targeting of the SDF and those cooperating with it and the Syrian government forces.

It is worth noting that the SDF responds to these attacks by conducting raids and arrests in areas under its control, which often extend to civilians unrelated to the organization.
