With Suicide Drones.. The Regime Intensifies Bombardment on Northwestern Syria
-
The Syrian regime's use of suicide drones reveals a qualitative development in its combat methods, indicating its acquisition of advanced military technologies from its supporters

The Syrian regime intensified its military operations Wednesday in various areas of Aleppo, Idlib, and Latakia countryside in northwestern Syria, using suicide drones and heavy artillery.
Opposition media platforms monitored regime forces launching attacks with more than 10 FPV (First Person View) suicide drones on the town of Maaret al-Naasan and its surroundings in northeastern Idlib countryside.
The regime's artillery rained mortar shells on the vicinity of Kansafra town and Binin village's grove in Jabal al-Zawiya, southern Idlib.
The regime's military vehicles targeted residential gatherings with heavy artillery in the villages of Kafr Taal, Kafr Amma, and Taqad, as well as the 46th Regiment axis in western Aleppo countryside.
The bombardment extended to northern Latakia countryside, hitting the vicinity of Al-Tuffahia village with mortar shells, without recording human casualties in the targeted areas.
These attacks fall within the regime's ongoing policy of targeting civilian areas, ignoring international humanitarian laws and taking advantage of the international community's preoccupation with Gaza events.
The regime's increasing use of suicide drones reflects a notable development in its military capabilities, indicating the flow of advanced weapons from its allies, especially Russia and Iran.
These developments come amid the regime's continuous attempts to regain control over areas outside its control in northern Syria, exploiting the weak international support for the opposition.
This escalation raises fears of a new wave of displacement in the region, which already hosts millions of Syrian displaced people who originally fled from the regime's previous military operations.
