الهجوم الإيراني

The Israeli army announced that the Iranian attack indeed hit several air bases. Israeli Channel 13 reported today, Wednesday, that air force camps were harmed as a result of the Iranian attack yesterday.

A source for the Israeli army radio stated that several air bases belonging to the air force were damaged due to the Iranian attack, but their infrastructure remains intact.

The army also announced that the Chief of Staff is currently holding security consultations with the heads of the Mossad and Shin Bet at the Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv to discuss the response.

In a related context, a U.S. official stated that the United States has made it clear that it supports the Israeli response, but believes it should be measured, according to Axios.

The official added that any Iranian attack in retaliation for an Israeli response would require defensive cooperation with the U.S. Central Command.

This comes as Tehran renewed its warnings amid the ongoing mutual threats between Israel and Iran, following the Iranian missile attack yesterday.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian confirmed that if Israel makes another mistake, his country's response will be devastating, as he put it.

He also added that the killing of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah was not an easy incident.

For his part, Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh announced that Tel Aviv would receive a more severe blow if it retaliated against the recent missile attack.

In statements made today, Wednesday, he emphasized that his country did not target civilian sites in Israel, asserting that the attack achieved 90% of its objectives.
