Opposition factions tighten the grip on Mount Zayn Al-Abidin, while the SDF infiltrates eastern Aleppo

Syrian opposition factions have tightened their grip on the Syrian regime forces stationed at Mount Zayn Al-Abidin in northern Hama, where fierce battles are occurring on several fronts north and east of the city. In this context, the military operations management has managed to take control of 20 military positions and villages in the Hama countryside.
In eastern Aleppo, the "Syrian Democratic Forces" infiltrated the Al-Khafsa station, which supplies water to the city of Aleppo, and are moving towards the Kweris airport in eastern Aleppo. At the same time, opposition factions have sent massive reinforcements, including tanks and heavy weapons, to counter the advance of the SDF.
Intense battles continue in the Hama countryside, where the "Deterrence of Aggression" factions have achieved significant progress, managing to seize strategic areas in northern and western Hama, including Mount Kfar'ah, the Tank School, and the warehouses in Rahbat Khattab, as well as control over towns and villages in the eastern countryside.
The "Deterrence of Aggression" factions also targeted regime forces' positions in Hama using drones (Shaheen), resulting in the deaths of several officers, including Brigadier General Wael Mohammed Said. The military media of the factions reported the killing of eight regime officers during clashes in the area.
In a notable statement, the leader of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham, Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, confirmed that his faction "does not intend to rule Aleppo," noting that the administration of the city would be the responsibility of a "transitional authority." He added that "the authority is seriously considering dissolving itself to enhance the integration between civil and military structures."
On the other hand, the "Shami Front" faction called on its members to evacuate the city of Aleppo immediately to hand it over to civil and administrative entities. In this context, the Syrian Civil Defense (White Helmets) has begun its operations in Aleppo, focusing on retrieving the bodies of victims and clearing the debris from airstrikes on main streets in an effort to facilitate the return of normal life.
