Syrian actress Wafaa Mousally, known for her role as "Feryal Khanum" in "Bab Al-Hara," reported physical abuse by airport security staff in Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport.

When asked for her old passport during departure procedures, she was taken to a side room where she faced abuse in front of travelers.

She told "Yalla Trend" platform that a Lebanese security officer forcefully bent her fingers backward, causing severe pain. Her plea "treat me like your mother" to stop yelling was ignored.

Medical reports showed ligament tears, abrasions, and multiple bruises, preventing her from standing or eating for days.

Mousally hired a lawyer to pursue legal action and prevent similar incidents.

Many Syrians use Beirut airport for travel due to flight restrictions since 2011. Mousally, born November 1, 1959, graduated from Damascus Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, starting her career in 1980.
